Article 1 (Scope of Application)

Accommodation contracts and related agreements between this facility (MOE Dorf Hakuba) and guests shall be governed by these Terms. Matters not covered herein shall be governed by applicable laws or generally established customs.

When this facility accepts special terms that do not violate laws or customs, such special terms shall prevail notwithstanding the preceding paragraph.

Article 2 (Application for Accommodation)

Persons wishing to apply for an accommodation contract shall provide the following information:

1. Guest name and contact information
2. Dates of stay and expected arrival time
3. Accommodation charges (based on this facility's rate schedule in principle)
4. Other information deemed necessary by this facility

If a guest requests an extension of stay beyond the dates specified above during their stay, this shall be treated as a new accommodation contract application at the time such request is made.

Article 3 (Formation of Accommodation Contract)

The accommodation contract is formed when this facility accepts the application set forth in the preceding article. However, this does not apply when this facility proves that it did not accept the application.

For applications made through affiliated organizations such as booking platforms, the rules of such organizations shall apply together with these Terms.

Article 4 (Refusal of Accommodation Contract)

This facility may refuse to enter into an accommodation contract in the following cases:

1. When the application does not comply with these Terms.
2. When all rooms (units) are fully occupied.
3. When the prospective guest is deemed likely to engage in conduct that violates laws, public order, or good morals in connection with accommodation.
4. When the prospective guest is clearly identified as having a communicable disease.
5. When unreasonable demands are made in connection with accommodation.
6. When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility malfunction, or other unavoidable circumstances.
7. When the prospective guest is identified as a member or associate of organized crime groups or other anti-social forces.

Article 5 (Guest's Right to Cancel)

Guests may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying this facility.

When a guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the guest, cancellation fees shall be charged in accordance with our separately defined cancellation policy.

If a guest does not arrive by 8:00 PM on the day of stay (or 2 hours after the stated expected arrival time) without prior notice, this facility may treat the accommodation contract as cancelled by the guest.

Article 6 (Facility's Right to Cancel)

This facility may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases:

1. When any of Article 4, Paragraph 1, items (3) through (7) are found to apply.
2. When the guest does not comply with house rules set by this facility.
3. When the guest smokes indoors, tampers with fire prevention equipment, or violates other prohibited acts.

When this facility cancels the contract under the preceding paragraph, guests shall not be charged for services not yet received (refunds will be provided for amounts already paid, offset by any applicable cancellation fees).

Article 7 (Guest Registration)

Guests shall register the following information at check-in (including non-face-to-face systems such as tablet devices) on the day of stay:

1. Names, ages, genders, addresses, and occupations of all guests
2. For foreign nationals: nationality, passport number, and presentation/copy of passport
3. Departure date and expected departure time
4. Other information deemed necessary by this facility

Article 8 (Room Usage Hours)

Guests may use the room from 3:00 PM until 10:00 AM the following morning in principle. For consecutive stays, rooms may be used all day except on the arrival and departure dates.

Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, this facility may accommodate use outside the specified hours. Additional charges may apply in such cases.

Article 9 (Compliance with House Rules)

Guests shall comply with the house rules (as described in the house manual, etc.) established by this facility. Given the nature of trailer house accommodation, guests must strictly observe rules regarding noise, handling of fire (prohibition of BBQ and fireworks outside designated areas, etc.), and restrictions on use of facilities.

Article 10 (Payment of Charges)

The breakdown of accommodation charges payable by the guest shall be based on the amount presented at the time of booking confirmation.

Payment of accommodation charges shall be made in principle by advance credit card payment at the time of booking, or by designated online payment methods.

Article 11 (Liability of This Facility)

This facility shall compensate guests for damages incurred in the performance or non-performance of the accommodation contract and related agreements. However, this does not apply when such damages are not attributable to this facility.

This facility carries premises liability insurance and other policies to prepare for events such as fire.

Article 12 (Storage of Guest Luggage and Belongings)

If guest luggage arrives at this facility prior to the stay, it will be stored responsibly only when this facility has given prior consent, and will be handed to the guest at check-in.

If guest luggage or belongings are left behind after check-out and the owner is identified, this facility will contact the owner and seek instructions. If no instructions are given or the owner cannot be identified, items will be stored for 7 days from the date of discovery and then either reported to the nearest police station or disposed of. Food and beverages will be disposed of immediately.

As this facility does not have staff permanently on-site, we do not store cash or valuables under any circumstances. This facility accepts no liability for loss or theft within the room.

Article 13 (Parking)

When guests use this facility's parking area, we provide the space only and do not assume responsibility for vehicle management.

Article 14 (Guest's Liability)

When this facility (including buildings, trailer units, furniture, and fixtures) suffers damage due to the intent or negligence of a guest, the guest shall compensate this facility for such damage (including business interruption losses).
